Plexia ("we", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of its users in accordance with Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.
1. Information Collected
When you sign up for our waitlist, we collect the following information: your email address, your preferred language (French or English), the sign-up source, and the date of registration. We also temporarily collect your IP address for rate-limiting purposes (security).
2. Use of Information
Your information is used to: manage your waitlist registration, send you communications about the launch of Plexia, improve our service, and ensure the security of the platform.
3. Hosting and Storage
Your data is securely stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. Our website is hosted on Vercel. Transactional emails are sent via Resend.
4. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to measure our website's performance. These tools collect anonymized data about your browsing (pages visited, load times) without using tracking cookies.
5. Cookies
Our website uses only the technical cookies necessary for the site to function (language management, session). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Data Retention
Your information is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. You may request the deletion of your data at any time.
7. Your Rights (Quebec Law 25)
Under Law 25, you have the right to: access your personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, withdraw your consent at any time, and file a complaint with the Commission d'acces a l'information du Quebec.
8. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your data only with our service providers (Supabase, Vercel, Resend) to the extent necessary to deliver our services.
